Milli discovered huge seeds of the Kurrajong Bottle Tree (Brachychiton populneus) in Palma de Mallorca. These seeds became the inspiration for this golden mandala, which she created as an altar of joy and prosperity – a place intended for prayer and sending positive energy into the world.

To enhance its unique atmosphere, she used cinnamon sticks, which add a pleasant, warm accent to the piece. The background is made of fine white crystal sand, and most of the shells were collected on hidden beaches of Mallorca. The blue shells were gifted to Milli by the chef from her favourite restaurant after she enjoyed a traditional local paella.

The frame, inspired by Greek architecture with high arches and motifs of gods and heroes, symbolically opens a space for awakening the divine power, joy, and abundance that resides within each of us.

The entire mandala is encased in high-quality epoxy resin, which protects it for many years while creating a wet surface effect, as if the shells were freshly submerged in the sea.
